What would be a visit to the Cornish Coast of South Australia without a pastie.

12-3a

Golden baked splendour! Not having pasties this good in Queensland is a bit hard to swallow.

12-3b

Moonta Post Office

12-3c

Some street signs in Moonta have an extra embellishment. This goat on this sign hasn’t moved in years – we called him Billy Idle.

12-4

With a Severe Weather Warning for wind gusts up to 125km/hr with the southerly change later in the day, these four beasts of the Alpacalypse warned us of  the impending Llamageddon.

12-4b

Wind gusts created swirling patterns across extensive wheat fields.

12-5

Nothing can prepare you for some of the more bizarre things when travelling on the road – this the Teddy Bear Fence on the Copper Coast Highway. All types of soft toys are represented. Can the fence bear any more? Someone even panda’d to a whim.

Something to ponder: If a seagull flys over the bay, does it become a bagul.

Inventive way of getting your complaint noticed – on Highway 1 north of Adelaide.
