Beechworth is  a historic town with strict development code retaining an original charm.

3-16

We are in Ned Kelly country – the Beechworth courthouse where Ned was on trial for his crimes and later hanged. Glenrowan is a 30 minute drive away. The old Goal is just down the road.

Like most towns in this district, businesses trade on the infamous outlaw.

3-15

Despite this, there were also quiet times.
