Bundy – home of Bundaberg Sugar and Bundaberg Rum as well as the home and birthplace of some of the nicest people in my life. This is the Bundaberg rum distillery factory.

While not a patron of the product, it is still worth a visit for bear admirers and lovers of big things. The fields of sugar cane looks in good condition thanks to recent rain – the massed flowering adding colour closer up or looking like a haze across the top of the crop from a distance.

We did catch up with family pet Penny the loveable labrador who loves helping in the garden and playing catch.

We finished the day driving to the mouth of the Burnett River for a stunning Australian sunset. We look forward to more horizons.
