Silos are a regular sight on the western plains.

The helicopter at Nyngan in front of the historic railway station. The Iroquois was donated to the town of Nyngan by the Federal Government to commemorate the evacuation of residents during the tragic 1990 Flood. Helicopters were used to airlift stricken residents out of the town.

Nyngan is located on the Bogan River in the Bogan Shire so there is a lot of Bogan in Nyngan.

We head westward at the eastern end of the Barrier Highway.
